Characteristics
Speak of the chicken of the Race Prat speak of a chicken that has bred with esteem and art, essentially by the peasants and criadores of the Baix Llobregat and, especially, of the Prat.
These chickens crían alfresco and gives them an ecological diet to base of natural products, prioritariamente corn, bread with saved and green.
Chickens
Crest: Simple, fat, very toothed with five or six tips. Right and very spent following the line of the nape.
Lavandula latifolia: Medianamente Long and rounded.
Orelletes: White, oval and middle-sized.
Eyes: Round and colour hazelnut-reddish.
Collar: Robust, long and very arched.
Breast: Width and deep.
Back: Largo, width and with light inclination to the tail.
Wings: Fat and very folded to the body.
It falls: Feathers abundant discharges, long and falls to backwards forming an angle of 40º with the horizontal.
Canyelles: Medianamente Long and clean of feathers. Blue colour, from the cenizo to the blackboard.
Toes: Four very separate toes and of the same tone that the blackheads.
Colorado: Feathers of dark blond colour without arriving to the reddish. The feathers of the coli of the back will be brilliant, as glazed. Tail of dark green colour uniform.
Hens
Head, expensive and eyes: As the ones of the rooster.
Beak: shorter that the one of the rooster and without corbarse.
Crest: Ben toothed, bent to a side, without covering the eye neither do bochas and folds.
Fight: Less long that the ones of the rooster and almost round.
Orelletes: Smaller that the ones of the rooster.
Collar: shorter that the one of the rooster and rectum.
Wings: bent to the body.
Back: Largo, width, plan and slightly bent to the tail.
Tail: Long, populated and little raised.
Thighs, blackheads and toes: As the ones of the rooster, but of proportions more reduced.
Colorado: Feathers of dark blond colour without arriving to the reddish.
Tail: of dark green colour brilliant.
Plumón: White colour.
Production of eggs: 180-200 by put.
